Description
Djanee came up with this wonderful UI mod in the Beta forums. I've incorporated it into the Fetish Exchange 4.0 Broker window. Up near the item search field is a checkbox that will open & close the Presets window. Included in the .zip file is a PresetValues.txt file that roughly gives you an idea on how to modify the presets for your own use. As far as I can tell, there isn't a way yet to modify the min/max cost for preset searches. Maybe someone smarter than me can come up with a workaround.

Enjoy.

I checked over your setup. Works very well. I posted a couple suggestions in the Fetish Classic comments section. I'll work on re-writing the GUI to edit your routines. I'm pretty sure I can make the GUI write out working XML for the Min and Max prices.

I've decided to change the way the marketsearch window gets the buttons. Instead of having x number of searchpreset.xml's, there's going to be one single searchpresetsXX.xml

The XX in the name will be the number of buttons included in the file for the mod. This is about the only way I can figure to get the GUI editor to set up the proper arrays before reading in the info. I tried putting dummy variables inside the file itself, but that just crashed the EQ2 client when the UI loaded. I'm writing the new load routines now. I'll be tossing up an update to this mod showing the layout I used inside the preset soon.

Edit -- gah. I hate the UI system. Having issues with the single preset file. Update delayed.

Will the presets be determined by several preset#.xml files? Or just one? Or something totally different? I can set up the GUI to be somewhat flexible. It's all written using AutoIt v3.

GUI in the works

I've tossed out the .batch file idea. Nothing personal against DOS, but I prefer a GUI of some sort. About half done with this one... it'll read default values from an .INI file if there are no preset##.xml files located. It will also spit out about half a .XML file that looks good so far as errors. The #index will be completely variable. If someone wants to make a UI window with 50 market preset searches, this will still edit them all without cracking into the presets code.

I'm going to try and incorporate both single-record saving, and series commit changes. Also toying around with the idea of incorporating a Notes compiler into it, to use with Goldi's and the other Performance Panel type mods.

edit: bleh, can't make the link work. go here: http://users.adelphia.net/~chplucas/.../PSE_Sneak.jpg

I'll see if I can whip up a batch file system similar to the Performance Panel's Notes assembler. Should be easy.
