Select Individual Components for Use?
Hi. Love DarqUI!
Is there a way to select only a few of the components? Specifically I am interested in the Group Window and Raid Window.
I've searched for answers and tried a few solutions on my own, but without success.
Thanks in advance.

When you check for updates in the utility, check the "Skip" checkbox on everything except the group and raid windows. The utility will only download the unskipped files.

That sounds more like the Group window, Fazio. You can choose default layout and scale on the group window options tab in the utility. When your character is fully loaded, move your mouse cursor over the Group window to scale it up if it did not scale up while loading.

hello,
sorry to bother you again. After getting DarqUI to work again, I was wondering why I never see/saw the mentioned threat/detriment window. I have the "always show threat window" checked in in game options, but I actually never see it ingame, only the default detrimental window (but my UI is DarqUI).
Can you help me to get this to work?

Michirure, press F10 once and target something, and see if the Threat window will show up. If not, it may be off-screen. Right-click any other window and open Window Settings from the pop-up menu. In the Locate section, choose Threat from the dropdown and then press "Center." This should bring the Threat window to the middle of the screen.

Experience Window
Hello, Darq -
I have had problems setting up the Experience tab. When I interact with it in any way, I get an error that prevents me from doing anything. I have installed EQ2 and UI information on a new machine, and I don't recall having any problems with the Utility before now. Is there anything I'm missing? I have already picked up a new copy of the 2.4.1 zip, to no avail. I can't copy the error text from the window, but I was able to get the details:
Code:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Thanks in advance for any pointers!

Darqui will not stay loaded
I have installed darqui live, It works when I load it from /loadui, however when I exit the game and log back in it does not stay as the default ui it always reverts to the standard eq2 interface. Any suggestions?

Valindra, if you could zip and send your eq2ui_mainhud_experience.xml file to darqwood at hot mail dot com, I'd like to see what's causing the error. I'm working on the next version of the utility and it's a good chance to correct for whatever setting is giving you trouble. You can remove your character names if you prefer, I don't need those.
Then delete or rename eq2ui_mainhud_experience.xml in your DarqUI folder, and delete or rename the experience window backup file in the backup folder. Then re-download the experience window using the utility. Post back here if the Experience tab continues to give you errors after this.

Look in your main EverQuest II folder for a file called eq2.ini, open it with Notepad and see if there are any references to a skinname that is not DarqUI_Live. If there are no references in eq2.ini, then using /loadui should be all you need to do to make it stick between sessions.

I just deleted both files per instructions and now it seems to work. I've no idea what I did wrong originally, though. Either way, thanks for your help and I look forward to the next update!
Thanks, Val
