Yeah I had nothing at the top, even checked in F10 mode to make sure.
What about those layout files?

Ive used your Ui for years and love it. Any way to block the annoying start up window in drumsui?

Those are just sample layouts I provided that was similar to an older screenshot setup included. They're out-dated.
I'm not sure why you're having trouble with the statbar at the top.

I used to try to auto-hide it, but it was hit or miss, and some people didn't like it. The window is hard-coded by SOE basically, and is limited in how you hide it.

Quest Tracker
I noticed that the quest tracker is different after installing your UI.
With the default UI I used to get mouse-over tooltips giving me a brief rundown of the quest; it doesn't do that any more with your UI installed. Did you turn that off as part of your design?
A question about the quest tracker in general, whether it involves your UI or not - I was wondering is there a way to collapse quests to "quest title" only so that you don't see all the miscellaneous steps below it until I am ready to do that quest? It's making me have to scroll the quest tracker a lot to find the quest I am actually working on.
Again I know this may not have to do with your UI at all, just as a new player I was wondering if that was ever an option for us.

Chat window
Besides my questions about the quest tracker, I have this one about the chat window.
I use a 23" widescreen at 1920x1060 resolution. It makes the chat font really tiny for me and my poor old eyes. I increased the chat font size and all is good there but the chat edit line - where we actually type our messages on - that's still tiny for me.
Is there a way to change that in game or is this something you could add if you had the time? I couldn't find anything in game to change that.
Thank you Drumstix42.

You can choose which quests show in the Quest window with the checkboxes. I'll look into the tooltip and a possible minimize button, but I feel the checkboxes are sufficient for what you want.
As for the chat input, I'm not sure there is a way to scale this based on Chat Font size, but I will also look into it.

Lovin' it.
I was taking this UI piece by piece very slowly, finally I decided to take the plunge and went all in. Loving it so far. The two suggestions I would beg and plead for is in the Stat bar to have an option to show how many guild members are online. The other option (may be available already) so I can have my Adventure xp and AA xp showing horizontally across the top of my screen.
Thanks so much for this beautiful UI.

A stat bar update is longer overdue. I believe XP values are already an option though.

Large resolution
My monitor is 2560x1440 and the default UI is way too small.
Does DrumsUI have any type of scaling so I can make the UI elements bigger?

There are no scaling functions available to the UI unfortunately. It would require editing nearly all the elements of each window to "upscale" windows for larger resolutions. Sorry mate!

Help Please. No menu bar.
I just uninstalled EQ2 and everything involved with drums ui and reinstalled and loaded the UI. I can not find the menu bar anywhere for drums. I am being told by my guild that I need that menu bar. I am trying to increase the size of the target mob casting bar so its a little more obvious and will hopefully help me see it better to I can better time my cures. How do I turn this menu bar on so I can do that. Please help asap. I used f10 and moved stuff around to make sure it was not hidden and still no stat bar. Is there a command to get it to show up? or another way to increase the size of the target casting bar?

Try typing:
/show_window MainHUD.StartButton
See if it pops up. It might be behind another window.
