EQ2Inventory and Chat Log Parser v3.0
EQ2Inventory is now part of DarqUI Unified. Now in addition to equipment, bags, bank, shared bank and house vault, you can track and search mount inventory and up to 9 houses, guild hall and player-made dungeons per character from the DarqUI Unified interface. The new Chat Log Parser features keyword, category and date/time searches that recognize English, German and French log files. Use the preset category filters or build your own using regular expressions.
If you want to use the new EQ2Inventory and Chat Log Parser without running the DarqUI game interface, click here for instructions. Thank you for using EQ2Inventory.
Thanks to Silat for the idea for EQ2Inventory in this forum thread.

Item Count
Tested it out and it seems to work good. One apparent bug is the item count at the top. I think it is a count of parsed items, not inventory items.
Silat
Thanks for the credit for the search idea as well.

Hotness!
*edit* If this could be made in to something that will save the information separate from the log file and maintain multiple characters, that would be awesome (ie, within the program, not an export)

Duplicating items
Awesome!
I exported 6 of my toons. I noticed that the Ear Slot and Charm slot, show duplicates, instead of finding the 2 different items of those. Let me know if you want export files?

Raenarys, the EQII logs don't differentiate between left and right slots, they just say "ear equipment slot." There is logic in the EQ2Inventory parser that tries to assign items accurately to the paired slots. But depending on where the item lands in the log file, and whether or not there is something equipped in both sides, you can sometimes get inconsistent results like you are seeing.
I'm working right now on a somewhat more ambitious version of this program taking into account the remarks below from the other authors, and there is new code specifically for reporting ear, charm, wrist and finger slots more reliably.

Excellent work so far!!!
I've taken the export (massaged what duplicated) and loaded into an excel that uses a vlookup for each of my equipped slots. Atleast I'll avoid duplicating pieces by having the name of the currently equipped item.
I have a separate part to the excel sheet that lists the primary stat, to try to help me gauge w/o the link if it is better/worse then the piece I'm bidding on.
Lmk if you'd like to take a look

The part in blue is the problem -- when you choose a file path on the Settings window, make sure it ends with "logs" and not "Everfrost." The program will find the server folders for you.

The program keeps track of which characters to auto-load, and the "could not find" message simply means the file wasn't where the program expected to find it. The file was either moved or deleted, or you pointed the program to a different folder. Choose some logs from the character list and that should fix you up.

I tried that and still getting the same results it finds the char names from the logs but when you go to load them it comes up with that error

Using DarqUI Persona
What elements do I need from the DarqUI Persona to be able to have that inventory window?
I tried installing DarqUI, but my UI is still using ProfitUI (yes the eq2.ini file has DarqUI listed). Instead of troubleshooting, what pieces do I need to be able to move the DarqUI Persona into my ProfitUI?

Raenarys, to use the EQ2Inventory log button while also using ProfitUI, all you need is the Persona window from the DarqUI folder. The file name is eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml. Let me suggest using the DarqUI window utility to customize the Persona window features before you copy it over -- there are some nice character-specific options you can take advantage of.
Incidentally, if you downloaded the complete DarqUI, then you will be able to type /loadui and choose it from the list. When you want to switch back to ProfitUI, pick it from the same list. The reason it didn't change even though you changed the eq2.ini file is because the game uses yet another file (eq2_recent.ini) to load your most recent UI between sessions, which in your case is still ProfitUI. You must choose once with /loadui in order to make it stick in both places. The new version of DarqUI in development makes this a bit easier to deal with.

Note about Paperdoll feature
Just a quick note, since the question has already been raised: If you have characters by the same name on two different servers, only the last paperdoll screenshot will be saved with that character's name in the screenshots folder. The game doesn't add the server name to the image files, so the character on server A will overwrite the file created on server B.
