Perfect ill give that a shot.


AND ILL ASK ANOTHER ONE: When I open up the browser, it then sets off something that every couple of minutes causes a "horror scream" sound thats REALLY loud - i have no idea what is causing it, but it only starts once i look something up at least once with the browser -and it will never go away.

Any idea what that is?

The only way to rescale the entire UI is to change your screen resolution. But when you check for updates with the DarqUI utility you can download larger versions of several key windows. Choose N (normal) or L (large) from the Size column and then click Update files.

The EQII Start button was merged into the Experience bar, and the original window was abandoned in the default UI. DarqUI does not modify this window, but if you have a custom version you may need to type

/show_window MainHUD.StartButton

You are looking at two different features. To use the same bag layout for multiple characters, go to the Bag page of the utility. The UI will look somewhat similar to this image. To log a character's inventories (bank/vault/etc) click the button just to the right of Auto-Inventory on the Character window, then load the character into the utility. It will look similar to this image.

As far as issuing a command from the chat window, the nearest choice would be /load_uisettings. But that duplicates settings for everything, where the DarqUI utility duplicates just the bag (or bank, hotbar or chat window) layout and ignores all other settings.

Inventory Log

I'm interested in unifying my bank bag layout across all my characters, as it seems to sporadically reset itself. According to the documentation:

"From the Inventory tab on the Character window in-game, press the EQ2Inventory button and allow the UI to write the special log file."

But when I view the Character window in game, there is no "Inventory" tab (there is an "Equipment" tab), and no button named "EQ2Inventory" anywhere. What am I missing here? Is there a console command I can use to export the file?

This is a good idea, in fact I had a prototype at one time for making a sound with mobs that had the star icon, or the quest update icon. There is already a lot going on in the target window and it's hard to see how to cram it all in. It may make sense to use the secondary player window for this, since it has a target tile and not as much other code.

9999p 99g 99s 99c is the largest value that can be saved on a single Save button. One solution would be to have a separate page for saving and using platinum-only presets. I'll look at it, but the window is already extremely complex.
