So I figured out the issue here. When equipping to cast or casting from inventory, items that were packed in a LON 'package', the Item ID that defaults on your interface is the Package ID and not the Item ID. I went in and manually changed the Package ID to the Item ID and even though it stated 'incorrect code' it worked as it should have. Hope this helps! Great tool.

gear macros
I am having a issue with the gear macro. My Zlandicar's Bloodsoaked Tortured Heart not equipping. I got various earrings and charms to swap properly but the shield never goes in.

There are two versions of this shield in the database, one has a cyan adornment added. Try the correct item ID for your shield and let me know if this does not work. The upcoming version of the utility should handle duplicate item names more accurately.

Beta Tools
Hey, Darq,
Beta Tools did not copy over my nav bar customizations, my icon bar, nor my gear buff macros settings.
I have Test & Beta in a separate installation, if that makes a difference... are there any files I need to copy over from my main installation?

Beta Tools only imports data from the game folder which is the parent of \BetaServer. If your Beta installation is not in the standard \BetaServer sub-folder inside the main EverQuest II folder, Beta Tools won't be able to find your characters. But if all of your beta characters are copies from Live, you can just copy these three files from Live to Beta. Be aware this will wipe out any nav bar, icon bar and gear buff macros for unique characters that you have already created on Beta.
\UI\DarqUI_v3\POI\darquiv3_xpbar2.xml
\UI\DarqUI_v3\POI\darquiv3_iconbar.xml
\UI\DarqUI_v3\POI\darquiv3_gearbuff.xml
Alternatively, you could temporarily "fool" the utility by copying the entire DarqUI_v3 folder from your main EverQuest II\UI folder into the parent \UI\ folder of your \BetaServer installation. Restart the utility and Beta Tools will import the characters without disturbing your unique Beta characters (if any).

Thanks, Darq, for taking time to reply! I copied the whole folder over and that pulled the gear buff macros in. I also copied the iconbar.xml over, as copying the folder did not bring the personalizations I was looking for. That didn't bring them over, either.
I was able to open the DarqUI United Utility for my main installation while I had the toon in Beta, so I just referred to that to re-create the nav bar and icon bar. ![Smile](/images/style_mmoi_eq2i/smilies/smile.gif)

Trouble with Gear Buff Macros
Hello all!
Has anyone else run into trouble with the macro not recognizing and epic quest item to be reequipped since it has the toon's name in it?
ie. Yourname's Dola's Mother's Locket vs. Dola's Mother's Locket
It is not recognizing the toons name in it so it will not reequip the item.
Any thoughts would be fantastic!

Hiza, there are two issues here. 1) The character's name is only an added label, and does not affect the item ID. So if you put in "Dola's Mother's Locket" you will get an item, but 2) When you do this, you get the quest item and not the charm. The upcoming version of the utility will show you both items and allow you to choose the correct one.
In the meantime, here are the two item IDs for Dola's Mother's Locket:
Item: 2566070112
Charm: 3890521621

Edit: Game mechanics for Tithe points were changed recently. Please discontinue using (delete) the custom Deity window that was previously linked here.
This as yet unpublished mod adds auto-spend checkboxes to Chillispike's excellent Deity window. The window is not on the DarqUI updater, but you can download it here:

I'm currently seeing this message when I hover over DarqUI_Notify.exe's icon in the task tray (which has a red background):
