Any chance..
Let me start out by saying the new hotbar is AWESOME!
Any chance of getting it to listen to the maintained effects for graying out active buffs ? - i know, will take processing power and such if its open all the time - Or a way of getting it to do a "listen now" sort of thing?
Its not that big a deal really, just would make something awesome even awesomner ![Big Grin](/images/style_mmoi_eq2i/smilies/biggrin.gif) since i used it for static buffs on all my toons and with disspells or spec changes it would make life just a little simpler ![Smile](/images/style_mmoi_eq2i/smilies/smile.gif)

I'll look at this, it's a good idea. Although as you mentioned it would be much less pressure on the system to poll the maintained window on demand, like with a button or a mouse-over, rather than continuously. One problem I see is that players (including me) who hide the maintained self-buffs won't be able to get a status since the spells are not in the window.

Coin presets
When I do the preset in the give coin window and hit the save button I get a window "Price Added!" but I can't click it closed.

Does the OK button appear to press when you click it? If not, hit F10 and make sure there are no other windows covering the area.

kdberg, I'm not having this issue and players I have asked are not seeing any problems with windows randomly not showing up on login. Note that you must set the setting for each character if you want any of the three windows you mentioned to appear on login. Setting it on one character does not set it for all other alts.

Darqwood, thank you for the response. I seem to be the one to have odd problems. Do these three windows I am having an issue with all have names that would work with the /show_window command so that I could just write a single macro to display them if not there?

There are some changes coming to the UI that will make creating a custom macro less necessary, although I would rather resolve the issue. When the windows fail to appear, are you logging between characters that have the same name but on different servers?

Some time ago (prob 1-2 years), i have found a similar problem. All aditional windows never show-up at the start, and other little problem (like the spell in the grp windows half broken).
For solve, i have remove the ui (folder in eq2 and the launcher) and download a new copy.
Some time.. Firewall, antivirus, even the operating system with strange Read / write permissions, can create some "fancy" error.

It sounds like write permissions to me also, or multiple characters with the same name. But I would rather be more surgical in fixing it instead of wiping out the UI. In the utility, go to Manage >> Manage characters, choose a character that's giving you trouble, choose a window that's giving you trouble, then click Remove Settings. Kdberg try that with just a couple of characters/windows at a time and see if you get better results.

No, there were no windows covering it. Some of the time on other changes I make I have to make the window bigger so the button will show up.

Do you have pieces from more than one UI in your custom folder? Like DrumsUI for example?

The reason I ask is because using straight DarqUI the OK window is not resizable. So making it bigger to show the button would not be possible. It seems like something else is monkeying with the window.
