Please any tips to help it see my character list. Thank you.

Character info for the Quick Setup grid comes from a folder called logincache located in the main EQII folder. The EQII server creates or refreshes the files when you log in to the Character Select screen. If you have been logging in to specific characters directly from the Launchpad window, this bypasses Character Select and your new game installation may not have any character files yet. The remedy is to log in to Character Select once, and then run Quick Setup again. If you still do not see any characters to set up, make sure the utility is pointing to the correct game folder (Settings tab). The default location has changed over the years from C:\Program Files... to C:\Users\Public...

I don't know whether I'm just setting it up wrong because I don't understand it or if it's not working as intended

Thanks

Istarial, 16384 is the largest number that can be evaluated for the flashing alerts without impacting the game's performance. Higher values will default to 16384 and turn red as a warning of this fact. Damage remaining amounts can always be viewed on the icon's tooltip in the monitor.

The spell tiles are not so useful for wards with dramatically higher amounts -- I'll take a look at getting the larger numbers to be visible without using the tooltip.

DarqUI does not modify the Heroic window. It may be outside the edge of your game window. To put it back in the default location, use Notepad to open the character's uisettings file from the main EQII game folder (server_character_eq2_uisettings.xml) and delete the line that contains the word "Heroic."

It maybe a silly idea. I am sure most people do not run eq2 the way IU do. I start by opening UIswitcher, after I select the UI I want to run I click start UIswitcher will launch EQ2maps, that updates and I have eq2maps set to Launch EQ2. I would like to add the DarqUI window utility update into this process. So basically, Run UIswitcher, UIswitcher launches Darqui window utility, update Darq UI though utility then have the DarqUI window utility launch Eq2maps then eq2maps launch eq2.

Thank you for your time and sorry if this is a dumb idea.
Amazing UI, thank you very much for it!

xsile, please check your private messages on this website.

Yes, add the name of the poison to the Maintained Spell Monitor, then set the alert to "Amount LT (less than) 10" or however many charges you want to get the alert for. During battle the monitor tile will flash briefly whenever the poison is cast on the enemy, but when it is flashing continuously between encounters you will know the charges are getting low.

Problem found that the new Aerykan race is not detected by the UI so those slots are seen as errors.

If you will zip and send your logincache folder to darqwood at hotmail dot com, I'll analyze the files and correct the problem for you. Or you can manually enter the missing characters into the Quick Setup grid like a spreadsheet.

Re: Target buffs

Scife: Thank you for your comments, you're very generous. Glad you are enjoying the UI.

Bloodcell: Prior to 2013 DarqUI had sliders for the target/implied buff size, but when the developers added the increment numbers the icons were changed to always revert back to 15x15. I have tried several times since then to get control of the icon size, but it does not seem to be doable through acceptable means.

Target buffs

In the Utility window it only has an option to change and edit the target / implied target window buffs/det icon size. Very important In AOM expansion to monitor those mob buffs. Even a Seperate window you could stack near your own Detriment bar would be very very awesome.

Maybe a icon adjustable add in to the ingame overlay that scales it up and down like the detriments window.
