When I run the DarqUI Unified.exe it will always say that I have 45 updates - even I just updated the files. Is this a bug or what could be causing the utility to falsely report that the UI files requires updates even they don't?

Hmm, that's a new one. There is a file in your DarqUI_v3 folder called utilitylog.txt. Can I get you to zip and send that to darqwood at hotmail dot com and let me see if I can figure it out. If the number in the "My version" column matches "Server version" then your files are all current.

i have eq2map auto version already installed. how would running this affect eq2map ? it seems to want to change my ui folder which i think would shut down eq2map as it would not load. any help would be appreciated

A couple of ways you can do this.

1) Install DarqUI normally and then tell EQ2MAP to install into it.

2) If you have not yet installed DarqUI Unified, open the utility which will start the upgrade wizard. You will see a line that reads "The destination folder will be DarqUI_v3." Hold down the Shift key on the keyboard and click this line with the mouse. A small input window will pop up where you can change it to your existing EQ2MAP folder name.

Finish the installation and DarqUI will be installed into the folder you specified. If EQ2MAP is already your default UI, you won't need to do step 3 which is to make the current folder the default.

I can't seem to get my other characters with the Maintained Spell Monitor to have Singular Focus, I have set this up on my main. When I go to my other characters the Singular Focus is in the slot 1 name like in my main character. When I switch characters the window isn't on any of my other characters.

I was wondering if there is a way to make the spell effects window also like the maintained window like I have for my main for Singular Focus. What I'm trying to do is make a window for the Blessings of the Ancients and have it give me a warning when there is 10 or so minutes left.

Check the box marked "Listen to the maintained spells window" for each character that you want to show the monitor. Any spell that appears in the maintained spells window can be monitored. Just type the name exactly as it appears on the icon tooltip.

All my characters are clicked Listen to the Maintained Spells Window but still is not showing up on my other characters.

Tried to create a new maintained spell window "Earring of the Solstice" to add onto the Singular Focus one, on the only character that is working. The earring of the solstice didn't add to the singular focus window I already have.

The window doesn't seem to save when I hit save or I have it on auto save. On some on my characters I deleted Singular Focus > hit save switched to a different character and did the same. When I went back to the character I just deleted and saved the Singular Focus was back in the first slot like I didn't even save it.

Singular Focus is the sample spell for the monitor. If you don't put anything in the first slot it reverts back to the sample. You can change it to a different spell, or if you really want slot 1 to be blank you can put a single space character in place of the spell name and save that.

Got all that fixed up and i must admit you have created an outstanding ui , just beautiful . however i was forced to remove it it absolutely kills my fps i drop from 60 plus down to 18 to 25 , damn shame

Now I feel like an IDIOT....Somehow my UI got switched back into DarqUI not Unified now everything works.

2 silly questions.

1) Anyway of getting the duration for a spell to show in the Maintained window?
2) Still cant find a way to disable the pet bar, can i call a friend ?

Damned, i gained FPS when switching from Drums, but as always i guess our miles may vary, And i agree.. it IS awsome

Spell Duration is the number in the lower right-hand corner of the icon, or are you referring to something different?

You can hide the pet bars by moving them outside the group member tile, see below. This is not a hack, elements that reside outside the boundaries of their containing window are very common.

Hi Darq:

I have two questions:

I play a beastlord and was wondering if it is possible to add an option to the savagery bar to "appear only during combat"

and [a very minor, if measureable question ]

Is it possible to make the horizontal adjustment range of the BL's pet window a bit more resizable so the dismiss pet and follow icons disappear? I've pulled in that window both vertically and horizontally to it's limits, but the top 1/4 of those two icons are still visible. Since one can mouse wheel scroll that window, it would be quick and easy to show them when needed.
