I will need about 3 hours to get to my game machine, so look for an update after that. In the meantime can I get you to zip and email your Group window to darqwood at hotmail dot com. Don't post it here. If I can look at that it may speed up the process. Thanks for your help.

Can something be done to slim up the exp bar?

I like the options we can cycle through, but the SC button is never used and quite an eyesore.


Would be nice to put the exp bar at the top or bottom and have it not force snap to full length too.

Also, since the sony virus (some people call it awesomium_process.exe) which just feeds you hispanic tv commercials and other audio advertisements...
... people dont use the in game browser any more, so all of the eq2 buttons on all the items is now pointless, since we just open up a browser and type in what we are researching.

HI, I'm trying to use the new maintained window but can't get the recast to work. I keep getting an error of "this spell or ability is no longer available". It recognizes the spell and it comes up on the window so I must have it spelled right. I then put Recast on Kateraina as the followup but it gives me that error.

Also, I disagree with the previous poster. I use the SC button and I use the ingame browser sometimes.

Nancy, in the window utility you need to put "recast spell on target" into the followup slot which should be one of the choices on the dropdown box, or you can type it in manually. You don't need to put the target's name -- the button will get spell and target automatically. If it still does not work, post back here and tell me which spell you are trying to recast.



Krisla: you can disable the snapping behavior by opening the XP bar file and changing EnableSnapping on the second line to false.

Hi Darqwood,

I was just wondering if there is a way to get the remaining spell duration (for DoTs) displayed. It would be usefull for me as a warlock.

Demonatika, thanks for your post. If the spell puts an icon in the Maintained Spells window, then you should be able to track the duration (lower-right corner of the icon) in the monitor. Is there a certain spell that's giving you trouble?

Is there a way to hide the maintained spells monitor window for characters that don't use it?

There is now I attached a window show/hide to the "listen on login" checkbox for each character which I am testing now. It should appear in the next update. In the meantime you can right-click and use the Window Settings menu to make it disappear for certain characters.

Thanks and thanks for the quick response.

I thought about just using the window settings to hide it but then I figured if I decided to use it later I'd probably never find it again. I did slightly fade it and stuck it behind one of the chat windows as a temporary fix. Putting the option in the setup utility makes for a much cleaner solution.

I'm really loving what you've done with this and I'm very impressed with how quick you've been getting updates out there. Thanks for everything.
