Game Update #65 Compatible
Description:
This modifies the maintained window to display time remaining at the top of each icon, as well as procs/ward amount remaining in the bottom right of each icon. Right-clicking the window and Hiding/Showing text will change the window from Icon-Only mode to Icon + Details mode. Right clicking the window and enabling the Titlebar will change the window to Right-Aligned icons mode.
* Note: the text looks much clearer and colored in-game than in the screenshots here.
Installation Notes:
- How To: Install A Custom UI
- eq2ui_mainhud_maintained.xml goes in your CustomUI folder.
Update Log:
2012.11.13
- Updated for CoE to include Stacks counters.
2011.07.13
- Click-to-cancel overlays have been given a color and are now closer to 50% of the icon.
2011.01.25
- Now supports mouse scrolling
2010.11.28
- now supports right click menu "Hide/Show Text" to toggle modes
- width of data is wider than before when in expanded view
- changed "amount remaining" font style to fit larger numbers (large wards)
- enabling/disabling the Titlebar in window options now swaps window between left & right aligned modes (variant window now obsolete)
2010.08.23
- Icons can now be clicked to cancel maintained buffs. The top 2/3rds is the button (shows a tootlip) and the bottom 1/3rd shows the normal icon tooltip. Updated for both versions.
2010.08.18
- changed the color of the effect names text to be less dark. This window does not yet support the right click "Show/hide text" integrated with GU57
2010.03.30
- window icon's "spell amount" slightly increased in width to accomodate larger numbers (wards, etc)
- Alternative right-sided-icons version now included in zip
2008.10.14
- Initial release

It's not possible to do. There is no UI data to use for these windows.

maybe I'm missing it, but is there a way to change the size of the maintained icons? Like with your good/bad effects window?

If you are referring to the icons, they are covered by a button for quick canceling, however this invisible button top covers the top 60% of the icon. So, if you mouse over the bottom of the icon, it will still show the default tooltip.
I'm going to be updating this so that it will shade it so you know what you're mousing-over. Cheers

Thanks, that worked once I realized I actually just had to modify the already-existing VolumeFill value.

I don't have any variants of this window currently updated, but you can easily add this:
VolumeFill="left2right_up"
... to the <VolumePage> line

That's strange that the data displays different. I have not messed with custom volume files in a bit, so I'll check into what's going on under the hood and get back to this page about it.

I run effects and maintained in vertical windows. From this I get bottom justified but only in a horizontal window, aligning the window in the vertical the icons still top justify. I am also using your alternative window for icons on the left (if that makes a difference).
Any help is much appreciated. I love your UI and use the full set. Guess I could get used to top justified icons but have been playing for years with them at the bottom, just kinda goofs with my visual (LOL).
|
Awesome mod, thanks so much! I also have this slight issue - I run a vertical window but can't get the icons to bottom justify. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Right to left
I was able to get it to work by adding VolumeFill="right2left_up" to the following line in the xml.
<VolumePage AbsorbsInput="false" CellCount="1,30" CellPadding="1,1" CellSelectable="false" CellSize="30,30" Location="1,1" MinimumScrollExtent="112,931" Name="Volume" PackSize="absolute,absolute" ScrollExtent="112,931" Size="30,498" UserScrollable="false" VolumeFill="right2left_up">
Thanks
