Everything was there and all worked, but still could not close infocenter.

I have a small feeling that the old version of the InfoCenter existing in the UI ini file may have left over information that is conflicting with the new Info Center showing.
If you have the extra time, and maybe an extra character slot try:
-Create a new custom UI folder and install only this Info Center
-Alter your EQ2.ini file to use this new custom UI folder
-Create a new character (Don't import UI Settings)
-Login and see if you can access the Info Center without any problems
It would be a huge help to me if you could try this if possible, as I would love to help you get things working.

Still trying to sort out the problems with old left over files that may have got missed on the users end.

with the new release, it's just an InfoCenter directory subdirectly in our custom UI directory, rather than in the DrumsUI subdirectory, right? just making sure, as i'm about to remove the old entries.
edit: just realized you had updated your install notes.

Do you have a eq2ui.xml in your custom UI folder? If so, make sure eq2ui_custom.xml is included in it.
Do you have the eq2ui_custom.xml in place properly in your custom UI folder? Make sure the <include> is properly placed in it.
These are the only things that I can imagine are incorrect. I've tried installin this mod by itself and with other mods, and have ran into no problems, including friends computers

There's a good chance I can put something in so that it remembers what tab and page you were on when closing/opening the window.
Keeping the scrollbar in the same place when minimzing/restoring a little more tough because the window's size is being changed. I'll see what I can do, and thanks for the suggestions
