when i go to display the character window it comes up with a whinge saying "the mainHUD Persona window is not compatible with the current client. please upgrade your UI mod to a compatiable version"

problem is i have done the update (as administrator) and it says no new files

and word on when this could be getting updated?

As I said, I am not given the option to run as admin. Meaning when I right click it it does not give the option to run as admin.

Rick click the icon and choose "run as administrator" then click "yes" when prompted. should take of your admin issue

ok I know this may sound silly. But as of 4/28/2011 and the new housing update, profitUI will not show the Charertor Window. I try to run the updater, but get the you have to run with Admin privaliges. Unfortunately I have no way of giving it these privalages since it will not give me the option to run it as such. I am running Windows 7 and have had no issues until now. Looks like I am going to have to run around and doing things old style

The spell effects window will not stay locked in one place. I move it and lock it in place and it is fine for that sessions, however if i log out of the game and come back in the window is moved again. it will not stay put.

this is the only issue i have ever had i love this UI great job.

Thank you very much. At this moment in time, it won't even open the updater window at all. It just shows the Java 6 screen loading then it disappears.

If you are having issues on, not correct path you need to find out how to turn on see invisible files on windows 7 so you can see the File Program Data, this is were your directory is. Should look something like Computer>Local Disk>Program Data>Sony Online Entertainment>Installed Games>Everquest II/other sony games.

im havin the same problem it started when i installed the new ex pack. is this a bug that you know about or am i just doin somthin wrong?

Thanks for the tip. Now, how do I see if I have everuthing set up properly, since it doesn't seem to be working? I have uninstalled alla Java consoles, by the way and still no joy.

I've been using the UI updater on Win 7 for quite some time, it works fine if you have everything set up properly.

hey m8 i've just reinstalled my eq2 and im useing station launcher and what happens in when i open it i keep getting this error every time and it keeps coming back and then it asks me to tell it where my directory is so i do and then it tells me thats not my directory help me plz

Thanks-. Not working, there is nothing in that directory, most definitely my everquest2.exe is still in the same directory as it used to be.

By the way, I have 2 accounts and I purchased Velious only for one of them, if this can help to shed any light.

Ok, profit now works but my maps are all blue...nothing inside them, no map of the world and the top portion of my main map is gone so i can't put in waypoints..and now buttons for path, find etc ALL GONE... now what? any ideas on how to fix it? and yes, i ran eq2map updater

I found my file...seems that Destiny of Velious put everything in C:\USERS\PUBLIC\SONY ONLINE ENTERTAINMENT\INSTALLED GAMES\EVERQUEST II

hope this helps others solve the problem..i don't know if profit works yet but at least i found the exe file
