Unless you want 8 buttons there instead of 5, I don't know how I'm going to manage to make anything a different size really.
I don't control the colors, the game does. I don't control the number's font/location, the game does. (It's actually still the same size but clipped).
A suggestion Odii brought up was to have all of the detriment icons the original size overlapping. But he quickly realized that uncurable detriments would pose a problem of masking others.
I'm trying to map out the possibility of dynamically sizing and arranging the detriment icons based on how many are visible... but it would be somewhat complicated to do in UI scripting. So I'm not going to say for sure it will be done.

when you click on a persons name in the raid window - it will not target the person.
I am not sure if that is by design or choice - the other raid windows as far as I know - target the player. This makes sending tells, following folks, etc. easier imo.
if at all possible I would love to see it target the person
Thank you for a great raid window.

Just tossing this out there. not sure how people use this window, but the 100% perfect setup of this window for how i use it would be just to remove the 2 heals and 1 special, and just the the 5 spaces there are currently for the 5 cures.
Or could we even put the 2 heals and 1 special over the healthbar and have it pop-up when we mouse over the health portion of that person?
Thanks for all your work Aditu, you and a select few others do more for this game than most.

Okay, so here's what I came up with for the small raid detrimental icons.
When there is only one, it is full sized. When there are two, they are 2/3rds sized. When there are three or four, they are half size. The screenshot doesn't show what happens when the game adds numbers to the icons though.

There used to be a reason that putting buttons over the names/bars was a bad idea, but I cannot remember why that was. It might have done weird things when on top of the names. But the window structure is considerably different now. So I wonder what the options are.

Nuh uh
Ok, you know how you can't please all the people all the time? I'm gonna be real unhappy if you start gettin off into worryin about placement and grayness and ugh.
I can't claim I'm strategy chick, so what am I missing? Why does it matter which type of effect shows up on the raid window? The group's gonna have a group cure appropriate for that encounter. If for some reason there isn't, there'll be a single targeter. In either case, type of effect doesn't matter.
If you're covering another group in raid from outside that group, you're still stuck with single target. Again, type doesn't matter.
I could use a slightly bigger icon, maybe to take up half the space of the button icon, but I can't see any reason at all for making it huge or replacing the other buttons just so you can see whether it's trauma or elemental.
As far as whether the cure and curse button icons are like gray, I don't see any problem with that either. It's not like they move. Left is cure detrimental, next is cure curse. Just a matter of getting used to position, which seriously shouldn't take long.
Far as I'm concerned, this one's just about perfect and I'd much rather you spent your time making an equivalent non-raid group window *grin*

macro attachment
Oh, one other thing. Could you tell us dumb dumbs (me) how to attach a macro to the cure curse button, please? We do rotation on a couple of encounters so groups outside yours need to see when it's done.

I'll release a way to add a chat macro with v1.7 which I intend on releasing today.

screen shot
No comment on the other stuff? Group window or what I'm missing about seeing diff type of effects?
I actually thought of a purpose for seeing them. In a given encounter you might know of 1 type of effect you don't need to bother curing. So seeing it would free you up a bit. Anyway, really would like to know if I'm missing anything else.
I love the cure curse part in your screen shot. Very obvious to catch my eye.

So far I like this mod. I've used it in a few raids and I love the cure buttons.
However, one thing I'd like to know, is there any way to remove some of the buttons?
Also, it says to add additional commands to the macros to just add another line... but since I don't really know xml I have no clue how such a line should be added for it to be valid.
In otherwords if I have the line:
Code:
<Page Name="CureCurseMacro" Active="true" OnShow="raidsay CASTING Parent.UseAbility.SpellName ON Parent.UseAbility.SpellTarget
Visible=false" />
How should it look with an additional macro for "gsay CASTING Parent.UseAbility.SpellName ON Parent.UseAbility.SpellTarget"?

All I did was go at the end of the previous raidsay, hit enter and added your gsay.
Removing buttons would entail redesigning the UI, essentially. At best I could add a way to do it while in-game... but you'd probably have to redo it every login.

Hi, great mod.
I have 3 questions:
1. Using the direct heals didn't work for me. I guess the UI is not multi language compatible and I have to find the find the line and replace somewhere "Defiler" with "Schänder" (or add it)?
2. Is it just me or does Drag'n Drop not work as raid leader? I could drag the names, drop them somewhere but the players stayed in their group.
3. Would it be possible to add an option to collapse the heal buttons like the cure buttons? So that you can expand either the cures, the heals or both. Would be cool, if you are currently not playing a healer, because it would made the window more slim.

1. Well, you can try to edit the detection to the German word, however UI scripting is horrible with non-US characters and it might not work no matter what. You might be better off editing the section where it says: "Defaults if not a priest class".
2. I'm never a raid leader so I can't really test that often. I did try it once, and it didn't seem to work. But since raid detriment indicators went in, I seem to remember that I used the Default raid window as the structure for this one, so I don't know where I would have went wrong. It's a complete mystery as to what the game looks for in the UI for group switching to work since it's all hardcoded. I guess I can look again.
3. I suppose. In vertical mode it doesn't matter much because you can just resize the window and make the buttons not appear that way. Using "switch to basic mode" in the raid window will collapse all of them just like how the Default UI would. I guess there's no way to have just healing spells and not cures... though that sounds like an odd thing to want. Horizontal mode only allows the basic/advanced mode switch in the Default UI.
