However, this time when I click full install, it tells me the install path is incorrect. It is pointed at the EQ2.exe in the eq2 folder. It asks if I want to continue, I agree, and then it seems like it just hangs and does nothing even though it says it is downloading files.

I am running Vista. Any help ??

ToS Expansion

Everything is GTG except the old style EQ2Maps, I haven't decided if I'm going to include it or not.

You can choose to use the old style maps but they won't show in-game (for now).

I have done it both ways, from the shortcut and directly through the eq2 folder while running it as administrator. I still recieve the same error.

I don't know if it matters, but I do have and run a full station beta launcher for all my station games. I may not have mentioned that before.

Thank you again for answering and helping me out with this situation.

I did find an entry in the eq2_recent.ini that corresponded with the entry in your eq2.ini and created a backup image and then replaced the information with your information. I still recieved the same error.

The updater should be installed under your Everquest 2 folder in a subfolder 'DBsMod'.

Couple things to try (it's a permission issue)

Manually create the folders -
*\Everquest 2\DBsMod (my updater installs here)
*\Everquest 2\UI\DeaDBeaTs (my UI installs here)

Rerun a full install as administrator and see if it goes.
