For some reason when I uninstalled and installed this new updated version I have no poi finder. And also some of the maps are completely white with just the markers on them. It's been awhile since I installed a new version. Is there something I'm not doing I should be for this install?


It seems that for some reason it did not install the poi finder in my installation. I basically restored the old version copy and pasted the older poi folder into the right directories and it is now working.

Sorry for slow reply this one took me a bit to find, but it's fixed now.

I recommend a full install just to be safe

Whenever I go and update the Mod UI using the UI's updater it seems to download some files then the updater disappears.

Unable to add new macros, as I am unable to select the macro name field. Has anyone else run into this issue?

Hiya I have been using your UI compilation religiously for some time now and I have to say I think its the best option for almost any character! The only thing I keep hoping you will throw in is a Heroic Opportunity straightline window, or at least a smaller one. Is this just something you dont personally like? Also I'm not too great at changing uis "which is why I love your updater" so if I tried to add that portion myself would it fubar your stuff up? Thanks for all the effort and consistant updates!

The heroic window is only 3/4s the size of the default and thats all I have changed, so feel free to add what you wish.
The file is eq2ui_mainhud.heroic.xml

I doubt I will be making any changes to that window so it would only be over written on a full install.

Was gonna try your UI but run into some problems...

Have installed the updater, written in my characters names in launcher, did a full install and then a update but still no option to launch the game, button greyed out... Started EQ2 from my normal launcher but it only loads the default ui...

Running win xp and updated everything on windows update but still no go
Any suggestions to what might be the problem would be greatly appriciated, thanks...

Make sure the path to your Everquest II install is correct, use the Browse button if it's not.

If the installer ran into problems there will be an 'error.txt' file in your new *\Everquest II\DBsMod folder that you can either copy here or mail to me.

Did you get the window saying it had been installed correctly?

Well, no window saying it installed correctly. Everything seems to install correctly but i cant use the launch button, nor can i use the uninstall option... The install path is correct to my eq2 folder with my eq2.exe as well... I did however change the default install folder for you mod but that shouldnt matter...

I did get an errorlog.txt in a doc from the file location u mentioned but no popup with a error msg, this was inside the error doc though:
