Achievement XP
|
|
V41.0 Finally fixed Achievement field to show 3 digits (for those who have gained 100 or more Achievement Points). I just made the text smaller, I will probably make the box larger when I have more time as this was a quick and easy fix. I also changed the zone name to be the zone locale so it will update as you walk around Norrath.
V34.0 Fixed Experience Percentages. Will update pics soon.
V32.0 Minor change. Renamed graphics file so it doesn't interfere with other mods.
V 29.0 Added black background per user's request.
V 28.0 I changed the experience percentage display. Instead of using ##.#, which has been found to be unreliable, it will now display ##/##%. What this means:
## = percentage through level.
## = percentage through current bubble (10%)
So if you were 48.3% through the level it would say 48/83%.
The reason for the change is if you were 48.8% through the level it could say 49/88% since it tends to round up. This should help the problem with displaying 49.9% then 49.1% since it would now 49/89% (48.9%) then 49/91%(49.1). Hope this clears up the reason for the change.
I also added on a 3 Bar version for those who were asking for it. The patch does require you download the original version first (if you haven't already). Enjoy!
V 23.2 I used this on a friends comp and noticed that some stuff didn't line up like it did on my comp. I realigned some stuff to try and make it look better across multiple setups. Please let me know if you are having issues with things not lining up right. (If downloaded prior to 6/12/06 please re-download, I forgot to upload the changed files. )
V 23.0
This is an experience bar I have been using for some time now. I just added the ability to switch to Achievement XP and figured I'd post it since others might like it. It is based off the MyUI / OCD UIs (which are based off the EQ Sars UI, which I loved). It is quite a bit smaller than the OCD xp bar. I like it, and hope you do too.

Nice Interface
Hello, I really like the interface with this mod. Just wondering if you would be able to share with us, a way to display all 3 experiance bars at once, not just one at a time?
Thanks,
~Jinxz

I'm probably going to work on that next. Don't know when it will be, having computer issues atm. I'll keep you posted.

let me start by saying, i LOVE this mod...
lately i've been having an issue... but i dont think it's specific to ur mod... it's got to do with the server sending in rounded whole numbers for EXP... anytime it's over xx.50%, the whole number rounds up, and it the numeric readout shows me having a whole percentage higher than what i really have... again, i think this is an issue with any mod that has a numeric readout... not sure how it could be fixed... seems like an issue with the figures soe is sending from their server...

Having a small problem with it. Every once in a while it'll give me a read out of 101%xp before I level. And ya, as was said above, sometimes it seems to round up to the next whole number

Sorry Jinxz I have had to fix a couple of my other mods because of the inventory revamp. I'm set to start on this again as soon as I can.

I think this must be something in the coding for the game. I'm just displaying dynamic data from the game. I think I've seen other posts stating the same rounding problems on other mods.

i was wondering, is there any way to just display the first digit of the gold "percentage thru level" (the rounded one), since the 2nd digit is useless? make it so it shows ### perhaps? or how about one step futher in being able to combine the first two numbers into the orange so that it shows as such: ### (but the 2nd orange # would actually be the 1st digit of the blue)
i don't know much about xml, so i don't know if it's possible to strip characters (i'd imagine there'd be a way to simply lose the rightmost character when doing a display formatting, i know VB can do it just fine...) that'll keep us from having to ignore the 2nd digit of the first number each time we look at the display.

The problem is that when the amount would be for example 10.1% there is no 0 placeholder for the blue xp portion. So by trying to do what you asked (which I thought about when I updated it) 10.1% would show as 11.1%. Basically just a new different problem. I think the more you get used to the new way the more you will like it. I thought it was cumbersome at first, but got used to it quickly.
