I will take a look into it tonight and see if I can figure out what broke it with LU25. It's been a while since I've made changes to this mod so while I'm working on it I may make some updates as well that I've been meaning to do.

On test now there are new slash commands to load/save cfg files, using the same format as eq2recent.ini.
Would it be possible to update this great mod so that the quality settings buttons instead just use this command, that would make changing settings much easier.
Anotherthing i'd like to see (if possible) is that the volume sliders read the values on login from options instead of using default ones to show. Basically putting the sliders from options there, preferably re-read them when expanding.

As far as the showhood command goes I may re-add it in some form but had to remove it for space for what I thought (at least to me) is more used buttons/options. I will consider re-adding it in a future release.

While I know that alot of people like to customize their settings, I was reluctant to include a program NOT designed for my mod that requires someone to manually edit multiple files (and if not properly done mess up button locations).

Sorry man. Didn't realize you updated today with that, as I just downloaded yesterday, and there was no such thing then.
I'll take a look at it.

You can adjust the values in there so that it comes up with whatever default value you want, just wondering if there is anyway to parse the previous value from the recent settings file or some such.
The mod also seems to load up with the extra settings panel maximized and oriented from the bottom of the new maximized size - end result I need to shrink it...move it back down to where it was, and reposition the actual start button. I tried digging around to see if there was anything obvious in the xml but that rapidly went over this poor rangers head.
I also vaguely remember seeing something on changing the settings for raid mode on and off...if anyone could point me in the direction of that would be awesome, as I don't think the old performance panel .ini generator works...
Awesome mod otherwise 8)

While it would be possible to write a parsing program (for someone with that experience I do not think my limited knowledge of C++ or Visual Basic would cut it) to open the eq2_recent.ini file and save the last sound settings to a file, it would not be the last sound settings from the slider (there is no way to save the settings from the mod in any form that I know of). The sound settings in the recent ini file comes from the in game options/sound section and only actually saves to the ini file when you click the accept button. So it would be possible to parse those values from a program and make custom preset xmls that would need to be placed in the video folder that the mod could load but not possible as far as I know to have the preset xml files parse the ini itself and load the values. If that makes sense.
As far as the mod loading in maximized form, that I can/will fix in an update asap. I most likely had it maximized in UI builder while working on the raid mode on/off toggles and forgot to minimize it before I saved and UI builder set the flag to load it maximized. As far as the startbutton it should auto place itself upon mouseover of the missing spot for it in the mod unless you mean (and you probably do) that you like to manually move it into position so that when the mod loads its in place without having to mouseover.
I will send you a private message(s) with more info on how to edit your preset xml files in notepad that will hopefully help for setting up your sound and raid mode settings to your liking.
