REVISION 1.4.1
================
Decided to rehash the whole thing. The scrollbar and the channel changer now occur "outside" the visible chat area. I feel that this gives a much cleaner feel to this UI.
NOTE: When I created my LeftScroll Chatbox, I forgot to change the packloc property of the scrollbar and channel changer. This has been fixed. If you experience problems, please feel free to comment on the aforementioned thread. Thankyou!
|| New to this Version!! || I now offer two renditions of this UI, to accomodate those that like the scrollbar on the right, AND those that like it on the left. The files are named
_LeftScroll_eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml and
_RightScroll_eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml. Choose which orientation you prefer, and rename to
eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml.
!! Important !! Please make sure that you either back up or delete your old mainchat XML file prior to install.
Thankyou!
v1.3
---------
Uploaded file was incorrect version. Remade from scratch as something was not right with it. The images are slightly incorrect, I will upload new images soon.
v1.2
---------
After several tinkerings, I found what I think works best. Had a real problem with the ChatDisplay working right. After talking to Zonx, I decided to move the Scrollbar to the right side. It's not perfect yet, but pretty durn decent
v1.1
-------------
Based on feedback from DB himself, I changed a few commands to better minimize dead space. Now there is no buffer at the right (far) end of the chat window. Not a major update, mostly cosmetic, but vital if you don't like deadspace.
v1.0
---------------
The idea for the scrollbar's was all mine! Once I had learned about MookChat, however, I adapted his idea into mine (or mine into his, however you look at it)
In any case, Credit goes to
DeathBane27 for having his wonderful mod in the first place. Thankyou DB!
