Laffs, thanks for keeping this updated! I am using a slightly modded version of this, Ive changed the start button to have a bag and notes icon and links from that other one erm I forget who's *blush*. Anyhow, I cut out all the CSM crap as it doesnt seem to work anyhow and takes up too much space for no reason.

My request is, could you pls post details of the files you change / add etc pls so I know which ones I need to update as we go along??

The "CSM crap" as you put it will only work if you are running the CSM (combat stats monitor, program) That is an addon for eq2, The mp3 part of it dont work as yet untill the guy updates the program......Also if you toggle the button it will hide that csm window anyways.

And yes I will post what files have changed in the future (if I remember to do so that is lol)

Sorry, that was a quickly typed out post before I legged it to go to work, I didnt mean crap in the way it prolly sounds hehe.

I read the thread for that CSM addon, and got the distinct impression it was totally broken and needed something to happen from SOE before it would be any use.

Just let us know what files you change is all I really meant to post!

Hi Laff, is it possible to include some of the "original" Perditions windows in yours? I like his/her bagwindow with 6 bags instead of the primary,secondary etc. version with only 2 bags in your mod. could you please tell me which XML file I haveto change? thanks.

The reason I changed it was to suit my play style I got used to the old eq mods where I could switch out weapons real fast to the situation, If you ever played a monk with a small group in the Planes then you will know what I mean lol...

the optional black background really screws this mod up. Did you actually look at the ui with this mod? I too would like a black background but the one offered is bad =(

To answer your question, Yes I did look at the UI with that background, And secondly I have never claimed to be any good with grafix....

Your very welcome to post your own version of the black background if you wish and let us take a look at what you can do?

Oh and btw I am honoured that the rest of the UI slightly pleases your almighty self ..........Pfffftt

I wouldnt have worded it the way Shadrak did, but that black backgrond does really mess up the ui. There are no defined edges.

It's quite simple realy if you dont like somthing or you think its been done badly it is considered polite to post feedback in a more positive way its called "putting your brain in gear before you engage your mouth"..... Failing that if you find that hard to do just dont use the item or make your own version

If you use negitive words to the effect of "screwed up" etc then you gotta expect a negitive response.

I spend my free time here because I enjoy trying to make stuff for people to use and apriciate, And even if I just make one person happy with a mod then that gives me pleasure....

On the other side of the coin if I was getting paid to produce this stuff and somthing didnt come up to scratch then I would expect the kind of response you gave in your first post..

Sorry If this is posted before but it seems my hotbars are locking into place and I can not move them. I used your repset uisetting file and that happened. I wanted to get those 2 windows back up. I been using this UI from the first version and when I first updated your patchs into it I was given those 2 windows but they did not load again the next time I logged in. Also Shadrak if you do not like Laff's UI then make your own. :-P How can you tell someone there work is "screwed up" when they are making it for free and did not even need to post it. You should be happy laff is still working on the UI. Telling people there worked is bad is the best way to get them to stop making these UI's. Like I said can you help me with the problem with the hotbars and tell me what I need to do. That is only problem I am having with the UI.

*side note the graph on the UI just a little bit to not line up. This is very small detail just wanted to bring it up in case you missed it*

*Edit* Yes I know there is a couple of things that dont line up exactly somthing like 1 to 2 pixels out... And it bugs me also but not as easy to fix as it sounds as all the windows have to be square, the only reason you see the angles is because of the shape of the background graphics... But working on stuff like that when I run out of other stuff to add / fix.

Cool I read about the titlebar/frame stuff and will try it.
Also I am not getting the hotbar to have titlebars or frames. I had tried that and it just gives me a all black background for hotbars. Sorry if this is a stupid question. I do not know to much about the code everyone works with to make these things.

With frame and titlebar enabled what you should see is no change whatsoever to the hotbar window read in the download section of the UI for info as to why this is

Would it be possible to have the map, persona and guild windows to look like Recipe book and other? (i mean the frame around them, like bags vs. normal bags)
That would be great!
