Hope ya dont mind I liked your mod so much I thief'd it. Great mod btw took forever to reskin for fetish though... Any reason why you used xml's for your journal over just regular txt files. Only reason I was wondering was because how long it took to open up each one to change them. Seems like text files would be easier to maintain as well.

For example, the GBS guide says Palladium Torque drops in Stormhold when infact it does not and never has.

I can confirm the torque does indeed drop from the named inside the armory. Was there with a friend walking her through the relics quest, mentor'd down to kill the named and the torque was loot'd form a large chest.

XML coding doesnt seem to allow for text includes. It requires you to make an item type of text, rather then just having text sitting there. This requires the journal information to be in XML.

Thx m8 ..
This Journal mod is by far the overall most usefull tool in coorperation
with eq2map. It helps me questing like no other combination of mods.
Our guild is fairly young and we are xp'ing the guild with heritage quests.
All our members are getting this installed
The writs and lore parts are great too ..
Thx for a very very helpfull tool ..

I just happened to notice this comment, and frankly, I'm a bit surprised by it. Since I know you're familiar with my quest journal mod, I'm sure you're aware that the info I include in my various mods (including your heritage quest walk-thrus) is all stored in simple text files. All XML coding is in the XML files, not in the data files. This allows the data to be easily updated, as the previous poster suggested, and also allows the data to be pulled into windows of different sizes and configurations.

waypoints?
Why are the waypoints incomplete? Waypoints are based in 3 coords not two. Where is the third coord?

Loc coordinates do indeed consist of three numbers. However, as the middle number is the vertical height on the map, it's typically ignored, as it's of no real use in finding a location. Only the north-south and east-west coordinates are actually relevant.
(Granted, in cases where several "layers" exist, as where tunnels exist "under" the main map, the vertical coordinate might be of some use, but those cases are very few and quite far between.)

I would disagree with this. I've run into problems with this in the Enchanted Lands in the caves and the Sinking Sands in Ro has much more layered areas. The height coordinate will be increasingly important.

update any time soon?
This is a great mob. The functionality of it is perfect, but you haven't updated your quest. There isn't anything in there about the heritage quest from any of the expansions. Just wondering if you are going to add those any time soon.

also had a palladium torque from the chest dropped by Lord Gydak (spelt correctly?) down in the caves.

Doesn't seem to show Quest Rewards like the default one can. Am I doing something wrong? The option to show rewards is selected.
