I think this will fix your book mark thing. You can find in the feature's section.

HTML: A previously hidden window, can now be displayed with the Journal Search button. Added Bookmarks dropdown. Bookmarks can be manually added out of game by editing _Fetish_HTML_bookmarks.xml. Some samples provided. Note: paths to local files must point directly to the file.

THIS IS NOT A SUPPORT FORUM.

If you actually follow the support link, you'll find a whole discussion board full of posts by myself and other helpful people. There you'll find info on how to resolve install issues, how updates impact the Fetish UI, how to customize various bits of the UI and other info... like me telling the whole community I've been hammered with RL work.

I do NOT read this download thread regularly.

As a general rule, I don't issue trivial updates to avoid stepping on people's customizations. Fetish does not include an auto-updater for similar reasons. I assume my users will want to customize the UI and don't want trivial updates or an auto-updater wiping those customizations. This does mean occasionally you will need to manually add includes for new windows from SOE or delete an outdated Fetish file until I issue an update. Instructions for this sort of maintanence can almost always be found in the support thread just hours after SOE issues a patch.

I try very hard to address criticle updates (when SOE breaks essental windows like Loot) within 24-48hrs and don't think I've ever failed to meet that timeframe.

If you don't care about customizing your UI beyond an author's defaults, can't be bothered to read instructions, and using Notepad is too adavanced for you... another UI might suit you better. Just be prepared to wait a while for new Fetish features to be "Borrowed" into that other UI

Thank you for the update. As always I appreciate the superb job that you do with the interface.

There does seem to be one issue with 9.6; the Logitech G-15 support does not work.

I added <include>eq2ui_mainhud_g15.xml</include> to eq2ui_mainhud.xml and that resolved the issue.

Boy folks, what an impatient lot! Have YOU donated? After all, this is a freebie and some people have a life outside of this game. As you can see, he's given us an update today, not bad I'd say since the GU went live just yesterday. Thanks Zonx!

A quick dirty fix for the loot problem with 3-04-2008 patch.


go into the folder you have the UI installed and rename file

eq2ui_inventory_loot.xml to eq2ui_inventory_loot.xml.old

so you can go back end edit later if you wish.


then go into your default folder in UI folder and find

eq2ui_inventory_loot.xml and copy it to the folder you have your UI installed to. IE for me it is
C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\UI\FetishNightfall



hope this helps.. I am not good at editing xml files other wise I would make the patch ( note the perpose of renaming the file ( so you can cross compare and make the patch your self if you wish )

Well Gu 43 went live and now I can't pick up shinies and open chests.
I guess it is time to go to another ui since this one seems to be no longer current and the maker seems MIA for the last 2 GUs. It's a shame. I really liked this UI.

looks like fetish wont be updated anytime soon anyone have a link to a help guide on how to edit and update UI mods if nobody will fix the advaced pet window broker or connection stats ill have to

Not sure what 'city' icons you mean, but the default icons are off in all Shattered Lands zones because of the way SOE redesigned their maps, when RoK released. There's nothing anyone in the community can do about that, for you, except maybe not show them. Even people using Default UI have that problem.

Just a quick question, is there any way to add bookmarks to the browser? I've tried every way I could think of and nothing seems to work. Any help you could give me with this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
