Default First full eq2 UI, confused!

So I followed the video on how to install the latest version of DarqUI.
Ran the game but it kinda gives me duplicate windows of what already exists.
I really wanted an auto-attack timer that wasn't an outdated version of Drums UI. I think I saw Darq had one.
When I did a test fight, my skeleton pet's ability caster time showed up in a hidden bar on the bottom but nothing related to my auto attacks showed up in any bar. Nor did any timer for my spells (dots in particular) show ether.
My bags still look the same as before. Is there something I'm missing?

DarqUI doesn't modify the default auto-attack timer, so you should be able to continue using the DrumsUI one. DarqUI does have an autoattack timer (with audio) at the bottom of the Threat window.

If you are looking for a spell timer, you can use the large black window next to the minimap. Click the blue button in the upper left-hand corner of the window, then click the purple [?] at the top of the window that appears.

Thanks for the quick response. Do I have to turn on the auto attack timer (and/or audio)? How do I get rid of duplicate windows? Any idea why bags havent changed?
In short, after the install what do I need to do to clean up my view to lower confusion? Also Im playing Time Lock server, does that change anything?

Since you are new to DarqUI, I'll mention two things that should be helpful overall: a) most windows that have customizations will have a blue button similar to the one mentioned above. Click that to open the Window Manager and see your options. b) the Help window has fairly complete information about configuring each window in the UI. Use the sidebar in the Help window to go to a specific component.

Being on a time-locked server won't have any impact on DarqUI features.
