Default Trying to get rid of eq2maps.

So as the title says.. it somewhat bogs my computer down and I want it off my computer. I did search i found some threads on this so i followed instructions...

1. delete the .ini file in the eq2 folder (done)
2. Delete the eq2maps folder in the UI (done)

thats all I found... the map was still there so I deleted/Uninstalled eq2 all together and re installed it. Low and behold Eq2maps is still here... Why can I not get this addon off my computer??

Any help would be great.. thank you.

You Deleted the everquest2 folder and reinstalled the EQ2 patcher and EQ2MAP was still there?

1. You either didn't delete the everquest2 folder
2. You have more then one copy of everquest 2 on you computer.
3. Your thinking the normal map is EQ2MAP because they look the same except for a few million POI's.

if you are referring to the eq2maps updater then simply go to control panel add remove programs (programs and features in win7/8) and run the uninstaller. Also as pointed out you probally have multiple copys of eq2 installed on your machine.
