no desktop icon

hi all ive been using profit ui for a long time now.
I installed windows xp on a new hard drive that was much larger than my old one, and reinstalled eq2.
I then installed profit ui reborn updater, but I had forgotten to install java first so it automatically installed java. (at least i think so, if i recall it right)
That is the only difference to last time I installed updater version.
It ran fine and i have configured all my settings how i like them.
But i have no exe file to start it, and i have no desktop icon for it.

I dont want to have to remove it in add remove programs, there is no repair option. As then id have to reconfigure all my settings all over again. Ive had no problems with gu53. the only way i can update it is by installing it again from the browser link.

Anyone know how i can get a desktop icon to show for it?
With no exe file i cant even create a shortcut on the desktop.
