Unhappy EQ2 Origins re: quick cures, casts

Hi, all. Back again with a question specific to the EQ2 Origins server, Anashti Sul (AS). AS is not on the same servers as EQ2 Live or the TLEs.

My problem is that DrumsUI works beautifully but every time I log out, it resets my drumsui_textsettings.xml and my drumsui_spelltimer.xml files in UI/DrumsUI/POI_Origins.

On live servers, these files are saved in UI/DrumsUI/POI. However, on Origins server, a NEW file is made called POI_Origins. The info saves there, but when I log back in, DrumsUI immediately uses the POI file instead. Both files were created automatically by DrumsUI. I can delete one, rename the other etc., but that resulted in my needing to do a total reinstall of the game, DrumsUI, and EQ2MAPS.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem in 2024? I see most threads are quite old and perhaps it's time for me to go to another UI. However, I love DrumsUI and its straightforward helpfulness for healers. I can let go if I must, but I'd love to know if anyone has a solution besides starting afresh every time I log in and re-entering timers, quick cure macros etc.

Thanks in advance, even if only for UI advice from people still playing this archaic game. <3

Find the spots in DrumsUI code that look like

<include>POI/xxxxx</include>

and change them to

<include>POI_Origins/xxxxx</include>

See if that gives better results

Tried to find the command with no luck. Where might DrumsUI folks have hidden the code? I see a lot of .xml and nothing else. POIs come up as map locations due to EQ2 Maps, but nothing I've found tells DrumsUI to save quickcast or spell timer settings to either folder.

Yet we know the command is there, which means I'm looking in the wrong place.

I found 4 files with the POI includes:

\UI\DrumsUI\DrumsUI_Custom\CastingMacros\DrumsUI_CM_Settings.xml

\UI\DrumsUI\DrumsUI_Custom\Settings\DrumsUI_ItemNotes.xml

\UI\DrumsUI\DrumsUI_Custom\Settings\DrumsUI_TextSettings.xml

\UI\DrumsUI\DrumsUI_Custom\SpellTimer\DrumsUI_ST_Settings.xml
