1) You can use /load_uisettings and copy another character's layout, but beware that will copy
everything from the other character.
2) You can reset all of your windows in Options, which will take your entire UI layout back to the way it was on day 1:
Options (Alt+O) > User Interface > Game Windows > Reset location for all windows
3) A more surgical approach is to reset the Examine windows in your character's uisettings file. Log out completely, then in the main EverQuest II folder find and open
servername_
charactername_eq2_uisettings.xml in Notepad. Search for the Examine module and delete it entirely as shown below. Save and log back in.
