It would be great to have a check box in the loot window that lets you mark the currently selected person as default.
to be specific, when you set loot to leader loot, you can assign items to raid members. we usually have a person collecting all the unneeded stuff who is different from the raid leader. having to use the drop down list to select the loot person on every item isn't that great.
