If you're using Vista... just move to 7, it's what vista should have been. If you're using XP... the administrator permissions thing isn't that bad. It gives the end user more control, and isn't an issue for most things. With updaters for EQ2 it's only an issue because it's a program trying to modify files for another program, which is an action that
should normally be prevented and require user authorization.
