I am having this same problem on both my machines, one is windowed mode one is full screen, neither are ever changed or minimized.
I am using profit with the bag fix variant and it still happens daily, in fact just swapping toons will reset them back to icon size 32 with 0 icon padding.
I fix them constantly, set to 42 icon size and 1 icon padding and they all keep their settings fine except for 3, bank 9 and 10, and shared 8.
I have completely wiped everything (UI, ini and xml) and spent hours reorganizing my UI from scratch and nothing works.
And no, when I say I reinstall and start from scratch that's exactly what I mean, I don't reuse anything or use any preset files. I make one new xml file and load that to every toon so that they are all exactly the same.
I really am at my wits end over this, I can't see things at 32, so I HAVE to reset them to 42 *every single day*.
