Does the other UI you installed show up correctly in game?
If so, then the issue most likely lies in installing EQ2MAP into that UI. Verify that the EQ2MAP updater is showing that UI's name next to UI Directory: and you can further check by going into EverQuest II/UI/<Your UI Name>/POI and verifying that you have all the POI files there (about 380 files).
If that doesn't work, tell us what custom UI you are using. Also check in game to make sure the POIs aren't just filtered off.
