Selecting the 1920x1200 defaults should give you a perfect fit, it's all designed around 1280x1024 anyway, I didn't really change anything for the larger resolution files except the horizontal stretch of the top and bottom bars.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.
