Generic Transfer Error
Once upon a time, I was happily using EQ2maps with no worries. Then, one day, I was unable to even start that little program, and after much uninstalling and re-installing of many a program and .NET - all to no avail, it was suggested by the powers that be that I use EQ2 Henchman. And so I did, and quite happily at that. Then one day, the maps changed. They were pretty, but lacking in all sorts of things I was accustomed to: like dungeon maps, alternate level maps, any points of interest, etc. So, I decided to take it upon myself to try updating these maps with my lovely Henchman... which I only use to update maps. I'm a plain Jane player. The only UI "Tweak" I use at all is EQ2 Maps. So I made sure every single one of those pesky boxes was not checked (Carpal-Tunnel is your friend!) and clicked the "Manual Update" button. Then I got this message:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Error
Generic Transfer Error
Received an unforeseen error while accessing the server. If this error continues to happen after restarting you (sic) computer please report it.
Error Msg: HTTP:/1.1 404 Not Found
EQ2 Henchman
---------------------------------------------------------------------
So I restarted my computer. Same message.
And now, like a good little follower of instructions, I am following instructions.
O Great Henchman Guru, please help show this grasshopper the way.
Do I need to get a new address to point this bad boy to?
And if so, how do I point it?
What do I need to do to make this work?
Thank you in advance!
I miss maps: I get lost easily in pixels.
