Do you have any of the map plug-ins loaded? The VAM (View Any Map) one, to be specific.
That particular plug-in has been known to cause EQ2Map to act kinda buggy (incorrect map for the zone being displayed, POIs from different maps being overlayed along with the correct POIs for the zone, etc).
Try deleting the file for that plug-in (assuming, of course, you
are using it) and see if that solves your issue. I don't remember the file name to look for, so maybe you could try doing what Zonx (the author of the map plug-ins) at the end of
this thread.
