The eq2 ui scripting engine does not support international characters, which is why you cannot script /useabilityonplayer for these people.
Therefore you need to use the "for international players" variants of the group window which still uses my compatible old method of curing but lacks the macro buttons for that same reason.
This lack of international compatibility also shows at many other areas of the UI, eg. the click to search buttons for quests, market favorites, etc. You cannot use non-US-ASCII characters anywhere.
Please /feedback every day for working Unicode support in ui scripting and tell everybody else to do so, because so far I have been unsuccessful in convincing SOE to fix or even acknowledge this...
