Actually what you see in the screenshot is a single window, namely the compass window.
What you can separate, and what Lordebon refers to, are the target and implied target windows that light up when you target something (you can also press Alt-T by default to make them show).
As to the compass window, you can nicely shrink it down to the size of the compass part only, which is its minimum size.
