I have no cache in the eq2updater folder. I also tried to download the more recent version, once it was done it told me it couldn't open it. Along with not being able to update my maps, I have a real problem on this site. Sometimes it shows the whole page in html, I have to fiddle with it to get the page to show up right, using the back button and refresh until it finally works.
Everytime I try to update the map, I get a different error message similar to the one I posted. There is always a word misspelled that is causing the error. I'm wondering if it has to do with some setting I have? I know nothing about scripts but that seems to be part of the problem? I don't know, I have a useable map right now, I just can't update the poi's. Maybe I'll just have to live with it
I appreciate the help that has been offered. Not knowing what is causing all this is driving me crazy, but it would be worse without any maps at all.
