Default ProfitUI Updater Connect Failure

With RoK's release today, I went to run the ProfitUI Reborn Updater and it's returning:

Cannot connect!
Please check your network settings or try again late.

Do you want to change proxy settings?

Yes or No

I've been using the updater for months now with no issues and my network and internet connections are fine. Problem started just today when EQ2 servers came up with RoK update and no other changes to my system, or settings. I do not run with a firewall, so nothing to disable there.

I also noticed several other users are reporting the same issue in the non-forum comments you can add to the main ProfitUI Reborn Updater page so this is not an issue specific to me.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit at 7:01PM: Adding the ip address for the updater to my hosts file did not resolve this and as said above, I have no firewall enabled. My system hasn't had any changes (nor even been rebooted) since the updater was connecting fine yesterday, so literally nothing has changed.
