Glad to hear that you've gotten the problem resolved.
Just to clairify, the problem with the bags moving offscreen has to do with a bug that SOE needs to fix. Depending on where you originally have your bags placed will make the difference on whether or not they disappear off screen when the resolution / refresh is changed. There are no bag mods currently available that will change that since it's an SOE problem.
However, if you make sure that your bags are not placed near the edges of your monitor then there shouldn't be much chance of them disappearing off screen. I"ve found that the biggest problem area is near the bottom of the screen. If I have a bag placed right at the bottom of the screen then when I go into Windowed mode that bag will completely disappear off screen but all of my bags seem to shift down as well (not right, left or up). Hopefully they can get this looked at soon enough.
BTW, the issue with the bags disappearing and then having to load the UI completely is a bit easier to deal with when you have the Fetish Locator, which allows you to reposition individual windows without being able to see them and without touching the rest of the UI. Helps out a ton.
