My advice is to stick with the default UI until you know what you need. It's usually the best way to go. With the sheer amount of mods available there's as many opinions as there are users hehe. Just go with default for now and get a feel for what you're missing. Browse the download categories and soon enough you will find your own favorites.
If all else fail, I recommend Profit UI Reborn.
