My padding settings are set to 0 and the problem only occurs on the bottom of the bars. Both sides and the top are perfectly fine. I've tried all sorts of resizing techniques and none of them worked. I spent over 4 hours on this issue alone yesterday. The only way to get rid of the bottom dead space was to reposition each bar to take up more than 1 row, which I don't want. I like to have each bar extend horizontally with 12 buttons on 1 row.

Also note that in the other thread that I referenced it states that this only happens with icon sizes below a certain point. Some hotbars will start to do this once the icon size drops below 40 while other the magic numbers seems to be about 35 or so. The problem with that is that I keep my bars at 24 on one account and 28 on the other.
