When I try to install eXtreme UI, it puts it into the everquest2 directory, since it needs an eq2.exe file to recognize to install into the folder. I have then created a text file with the appropriate cl_UI_... info in it and named it eq2.ini and saved in eq2 folder. When I run eq2, it stays as the default UI and a file is created in the eq2 folder named ui.log.
the ui.log folder contains this info:
Couldn't load .xml
:: Could not access resource eq2ui_journals_coinweight.xml
:: Failed to load data from included resource: eq2ui_journals_coinweight.xml
:: Could not access resource eq2ui_journals_nightvision.xml

:: Failed to load data from included resource: eq2ui_journals_ministats.xml

eXtreme installer installs into a directory called eXtreme in the UI/ directory. It just looks for EQ2.exe so it can know where to put all the files. You can not install eXtreme into any other directory but eXtreme and still use the AUCP.
So you first must install eXtreme and set it up so the game knows to use it. (settings->client settings) Once you have the eq2.ini set up via the AUCP or what ever. Once all of that is done you can add the infocenter or any other mod you wish. Just remember you have to unzip/unrare the infocenter or <mod> into the eXtreme directory.
If the above didn't help let me know.

It may just be, I'll look into that right away as it is the only issue left that I know of.

I haven't updated since the day EoF came out, so there's a bunch of fixes I'm dying for.

I'm not real sure why it would stop 'scanning' at 6%. The only thing I can think of that would cause this is a bad download on the filelist but that should of been corrected by restarting the AUCP, plus you would of got an XML parse error.
I hate to say it by try deleted all the files in the eXtreme directory. Not any sub folders.

Was a silly over site on my part. When I removed the infocenter from the AUCP I forgot to remove it's reference from the MainHud and it was being loaded into the MainHude but the button referenced Journals. Don't know why it was even showing the window much less the minimize widget.
