My wife also has this font. We both downloaded the same version at the same time, so there is no variation. Both using the 1280x1024 resolution. However I for some reason have a standard Tahoma or Arial (hard to tell with numbers for me) and I have been searching for a way to get the other font. The font name is Speedline, and it's included in the ProfitUI folder under Fonts along with Arial .ttf files. But I simply cannot find a way to change it. I've tried everything from making sure the font is installed on my own PC, to making sure it's in the main EQII font folder as well. I've scoured the UI options, but have simply had no luch whatsoever. Again, minor, but it is something I would really like to change. Any advice?

Can you verify that your windows fonts are the same too? right click desktop and go check your fonts of things like icon, desktop etc... im pretty sure it wont be the same as the Mrs.
