in the most current version screenshots, it looks like the journal window has writ and hq tabs - yet the one on my setup is not showing those tabs. is there a seperate download for that?

Probably was removed when Milquetowst Info Center was put in... click the little Info button at the top-left
Also, the updater wasn't changed, just the UI.. and as it's an auto-updater... 3.22 should work perfectly fine. If not it'd just update itself anyway.

That window is not a window that is included in the eXtremeUI mod. Ether it's a bug with default or you have an old eXtremeUI file or a none eXtreme file in the extreme directory. Look at your foreign file list and delete what you haven't added.

Guess it must be a problem with the default >_< Any idea which UI file I should delete so the game replaces it? There are an utter arseload of them in the default folder =\
