Personally I don't prefer sci-fi'ish themes either.. just isn't EQ'ish. If it was for SWG or something, then I am all for it. I enjoy fantasy games with a matching fantasy UI, same idea for scifi type games with a scifi UI.
Currently I am using the old EQII graphics before the blue/gold graphics came out. I feel that is most appealing.
I am almost sure somewhere on here is those graphics, or maybe poke Dolby into posting a zipped file from a past patch folder that has those graphics that you can utilize.
