i had been keeping up on zonk's posts btw. but i found and fixed the problem,eqmapupdater (fresh install) was routing updates to stock ui not fetish.once i switched it fetish loads flawlessly every time
ty for input.....now if i could only solve soe's eq2 client stability issues..............
