Is there an update coming for LU17? I know one of the windows that have changed is the claim window. I just passed an anniversary and can't claim it. Also, I have been receiving the same error message about incompatible windows. Thirdly, I had the same problem with crashing. I deleted (renamed) eq2_recent.ini and that did not work. I ended up having to delete all the ini files except eq2.ini, <id>_characters.ini and <server>_<character>_eq2_uisettings.ini. The other ini files were regenerated and now work fine. The only other ini files left after that were: original_uisettings.ini, eq2_default.ini, and eq2_recent.ini. I supposed that since the recent deletion had not worked previously that this file is not the culprit. The file dates on the other two were at least a couple months old, so there must be an incompatability issues with these files. it looks like original_uisettings.ini us a binary file, so that might be the wicked monkey that is causing all the problems.

Again, many thanks to Zonx and crew for their hard work. I am about to start cracking open UIBuilder to see if there is anything that I can be more proactive about in troubleshooting issues. If anyone has some feedback for a person that is just venturing into UI editting, I would really appreciate it. I do have quite a bit of HTML/XHTML coding experience but I'm sure Sony has a lot of proprietary stuff in there as well.

Well, According to the posts from Buravid, the issue was with one of the Fetish XML files (eq2ui_mainhud_death.xml), so all of the other things I did were probably a waste of time. They did fix the problem. I will change everything back (because I always make a backup before I make changes) and see if everything is ok. I'll update everything to my findings.
