Just use the 1600x1024, (this should give you basic layout, granted that bing ur res is a tad bigger some windows will be off) then go into options set it to not allow windows off screen, Unlock all windows. Make sure frames and title bars are on, then slide each window into place. Making the game not allow windows off screen lets you jam them into place with out worring about top and bottom placement.
The start/maintain/player window can't be resized horz, the group window,exp,quest,inventor,compass,clock,target and implied target can't be resized at all they are made to fit into place.
