Wow, what a mess.
Please start by using the included uisettings file, this will perfectly align all the windows and also give you are dark area below - thus not needing to darken your chat windows and seeing the odd dark backgrounds.
Also, try turning Smooth fonts off - this UI was never intended to use font smoothing.
To get the clock up press ALT+C
I would also suggest using the default will enable the manastone message to reappear.
If the rings/manastone/whistle are not performing the correct command, either swap them in your inventory or edit the manastone.txt, horse.txt etc. files.
I think I may have forgot to included manastone.txt in the last update, so I've attached it here.
