ok if you have eq2map installed and its the one that you have currently working, then just copy the files for the other mods you are using into the eq2map folder that is in your ui directory, that is your "custom ui folder" if any installation instructions refer to it.

you will never have to edit the eq2.ini file if you have the eq2map updater, if you want to change which folder is your custom folder, go to the updater, open the options window, and use the drop down menu for the custom folder to pick a new one (the fodler must be created in the correct spot already for you to be able to pick it)

if you have the other mod working right now, just run the eq2map updater, it will automatically detect the change in your eq2.ini file and update to that directory instead. you may want to run the updater every time you want to play eq2 (or at least like once a week) to get the newest updates, because it contains updates with new points, fixes for incorrect points, and new maps when they are added. it only downloads the new files you need so it wont take that long after the initial download(the initial download will happen only once for each time you switch ui folders, after that it only downloads new/updater files for that folder).
